We are pleased to bring you the 2009 Water Quality Initiative Reports. The Summary Report and the Technical Report are both below.

As you are aware over 100 volunteers worked on behalf of all of us to collect the samples from many sites across the beautiful lakes of Muskoka. RiverStone Environmental Solutions of Bracebridge has provided the scientific analysis of the sampling results and compiled the comprehensive reports. The water quality in the lakes is considered to be good to excellent. In most cases Phosphorous levels have remained the same or gone down slightly. The awareness and vigilance of so many Muskoka people may well be making a positive difference.
